TRACTOR TIME

Papa Z left his tractor at our house and Davin has been super curious about it. Well Daddy took him for a spin around the yard and he loved it! Actually he loved it so much that we had a complete meltdown when it was time to get off.
This picture cracks me up! Just chilling on my tractor.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA

A few weeks ago we took a trip up to Treasure Island to surprise Grandpa Jorge for his birthday. Great Aunt Joan and Carrie came to town and invited us up to watch the gator game. We had a blast and got to visit with Great Grandpa George, Jeanette, Great Aunt Joan, Carrie, Great Uncle Bob, Grandpa Jorge and Grandma Suze. We ate lots of food, watched the game, and took a dip in the pool. We are so happy we live close enough for day trips now.

LOBSTER ENCOUNTER

While having dinner at The Crab House, Davin got the chance to meet a lobster up close and personal. Davin and Aidan will have to exchange notes.

15 MONTHS OLD

Davin is now 15 months old going on 16. He has really developed quite a personality over these past few months. He now says: momma, dada, bye-bye, kitty, ba-ba (milk), baby, and of course plickle. He can tell us what sounds a horse, bird, cow, monkey, snake, and lion make. He can say "shh" and put his finger over his mouth while he does it. We are teaching Davin some sign language and so far he uses "more", "eat", and "milk" regularly. He has 5 teeth. 2 on the top and 3 on the bottom. He runs around the house like crazy and babbles all the time about who knows what. At his recent check-up he weighed in at 23 1/2 lbs and is 30 1/2 inches tall. This trip to the doctor's office was much different. It was a big boy visit. Davin stood on the regular scale to be weighed and stood against the wall to measure his height. Then when it was time for his 2 shots, he did not even fuss or cry. The nurse couldn't believe it. He is the bravest boy! Davin loves to read so we go to the library every week to check out new books. His favorites seem to be any book with animals.

A recent picture of Davin blowing a kiss.

SEBI COMES TO VISIT

Our dear friends Jose, Kerri, and Sebastian came to visit us on Labor Day weekend. Sebastian is getting so big and is ADORABLE!!!!! Davin cannot wait until Sebi learns to walk so that they can run around and play together. Mommy was slacking in the picture department so I only have one picture of Murray playing with Sebi.

CLIMBING MACHINE

Davin has recently learned the art of climbing. He attempts to climb on everything. Mommy is not so worried about the climbing part but rather the getting down part. Here are a few pics of Davin's favorite things to climb on.
