11 Months Old

Davin is now 11 months old and finally has a tooth! Look close and you can see it. Davin is not yet walking independently but he uses everything in his reach to hold himself up and walk around. He is able to stand for a few seconds by himself before falling. He loves to open all of the cabinets and drawers and pull out everything inside. BABY PROOFING here we come!
Davin is eating and trying all sorts of different foods. His favorite is black beans, rice, and avocado. Hopefully with the help of some teeth he will be able to add more to his food repertoire.
Davin can also now wave "hi" and "bye-bye". We are not positive, but we think he can also say both. The best are his kisses. I will have to put a video on of him kissing. No pucker of the lips, rather a nice open-mouth smooch drool and all. So sweet!
And finally, Davin has become a good mimic. If we make a noise such as a cough, Davin will mimic the cough. Most of the time he can do it on cue. This past month has been quite a milestone month for Davin. Our little man is growing up!

A Now...A Few Words From Davin

My First Dip in a Pool

A few weeks ago, Daddy took Davin for his first swim in a pool. At first, Davin was a little apprehensive, but after a while he was loving it. He even put his face down into the water a few times. He quickly found out what that was all about!

Welcome Baby Kynley

We are so thrilled to share that our friends Jimmy and Ashley gave birth to their beautiful baby daughter, Kynley, on April 20th. She is adorable and the whole family is doing great. Davin and mommy were lucky enough to visit her in the hospital after she was born.

Grandma & Grandpa Come for a Visit

Grandma Susan and Grandpa Jorge came to visit us at our new house in Port Charlotte. We had lots of fun. Saturday we started our day at the Green Market in Punta Gorda. Then we ventured down to Fort Myers for lunch and shopping while Daddy had a fishing tournament. Later that night we all went to Fisherman's Village for a sunset dinner.
Matching outfits!
We had lunch at this restaurant called Mimi's and as soon as we sat down they brought Davin a plate of his own. It was so cute. He seemed to feel like such a big boy and he absolutely loved the orange!
