Milestone Monday

Today was very eventful! It started off by me walking into Davin's room to wake him up this morning only to find him sitting up on his own smiling from ear to ear. He has never gotten himself into the sitting position independently. It was so funny. He was happy as a clam just playing with his pacifier.
Later today, when we got home Davin decided to show mommy how he can pull up to a standing position all by himself. He used his toy to grab onto and pulled himself right up. WOW! What a day!
I think he was impressed with himself as well.
Love that toothless grin!

Davin and Aidan Do Lunch

We heard the exciting news that Aidan was now walking so we had to see it in person. We took the boys out together for a lunch in Port St. Lucie which is central meeting place for us all. Davin and Aidan looked so cute sitting in the high chairs next to each other. After lunch we got to see Aidan in action.

7 Months Old

Well hard to believe but our little man is now 7 months old. He is weighing in at 18lbs 8 oz these days. Davin's practically white hair has really started to grow and he babbles non-stop. His favorites are the b's, the m's, and recently the v's. His eyes have remained big, blue, and beautiful. No teeth to report yet. Davin is also very close to crawling. He is much more mobile and scoots all over the place. He will get up on all fours, wiggle his butt, and propel himself forward. Davin especially loves to try and get to Newton and Marley, our magazine collection, and the blinds.
Pardon the snot but I loved this picture of Davin's hair. I'm having "Something About Mary" flashbacks!

It Was "Beary" Cold

We had a few "beary" cold days here in South Florida. Yes, even reaching into the 20's. But never fear Davin was kept bundled up warm in his bear hoodie thanks to Uncle Tim and Aunt Lauren!

Happy New Year Cousin Aidan

Davin and Aidan got together shortly after the new year for a play date. Davin was 6 months old and Aidan 9 months. Crazy how much of a difference a few months makes in the early stages of life!
