On Christmas Day Davin and Nana got to meet each other for the first time. The visit was lots of fun. We even sang Christmas carols. Nana was elated when she found out that "Davin" is a Finnish name!

Christmas Morning - Part 1
Davin undoubtedly was a good boy this year! Santa, the Grandparents, and Uncle Timmy were all very generous and spoiled Mr. Davin. We all enjoyed getting to watch Davin explore and unwrap his presents. He seemed more interested in eating the wrapping paper then what was inside of it.

We cannot wait until next year!
We started Christmas morning by opening gifts with Papa Z and Mumzie. Then we went over to Grandpa and Grandma Garbutt's house for our traditional Danish pancake breakfast. Davin got to visit with both sets of grandparents, Funcle Tim, Auntie Lauren, Great Uncle Bob and Thomas.
Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve began with a traditional oyster stew meal and Papa Z and Mumzie's house. Then we went to the children's service at Prince of Peace. Finally we opened one gift before bedtime.

It's so hard to be quiet in church!

Davin's Homemade Christmas
Davin had to get something great for his Funcle Timmy for Christmas. Well, what better than his first piece of art. Davin created his first painting for Uncle Timmy's gift. Maybe we can get one from him soon. Hint! Hint! Here are some of the pictures from the event. Who knows, you may see it in a museum one day.
Ms. Vickie's Christmas Program
Our sitter, Ms. Vickie, put together a Christmas program with all of the children that she watches. All of the Mommies, Daddies, and Grandparents were invited to attend. Each child was dressed up as one of Santa's reindeer. Davin was Donner. I have a few pictures and a video to share. Ms. Chelsea is holding Davin in the back.
Davin Visits Santa
First let me say "Sorry for the delay!" We have been in and out of town and busy, busy so I have neglected the blog. But here we are and I am going to try and catch everyone up.
Here are a few pictures from Davin's visit with Santa. I don't have the actual picture of him with Santa to show but I will try and give you the visual.
Here is what Davin wore...my handsome man!
Here is Daddy with Davin in line at the mall.
Let's just say that Davin had just woke up from a nap and was expressionless (is that a word?) when he saw Santa. No laughing, crying, smiling, etc. There were probably 7 different "elves" that tried to get Davin to smile for the camera, but nothing. All in all it was a good first visit and we will see what happens next year.
