Day 4 - Santa Barbara Wine Country

For our last full day in L.A. we decided to head up the coast to Santa Barbara Wine Country. It took about 2.5 hours to get there but the drive was beautiful because we were driving up mountains and down into valleys. When we got to Santa Barbara we visited a total of 5 different wineries. 2 were actual vineyards and 3 were in the "wine town". The first place we went to was Bridlewood Estate Winery So BEAUTIFUL!!!!! The vineyard is an old horse farm and has acres and acres of rolling hills filled with grape vines. The grounds were gorgeous. First we had a tasting inside and then headed outside to enjoy the scenery. The next three tastings we had were in a little wine town where there were wineries, restaurants, and shops lining the street. The last winery we visited was the Kalyra vineyard. After sampling wine we headed down the Pacific Coast Highway to Malibu for dinner.
