Every Friday, since we moved to Port Charlotte, Davin and I have attended "Baby Lap Time" at the local public library. It was a great opportunity for us to get out into the community and meet some other moms and babies. Baby Lap Time only lasted a 1/2 every Friday but Davin loved it. We would start off by singing some songs, usually a welcome song and The Wheels on the Bus. Then the teachers would read a story or two. Next we would get to use the maraca eggs to shake to music. And finally, all the toys would come out and the babies would get to rummage through them and play together. It was good socialization time for us both. Unfortunately Baby Lap Time takes a break for the summer so it won't start back up until next fall. Here are a few pics:
