The Splash Pad

We took the boys to the splash pad for some water fun. Both Davin and Aidan were having a little trouble getting into it at first but before you know it they were having a blast. Davin was walking all over the place! It is hard to believe he just took his first steps last week. Aidan was running around in and out of fountains too. What a great place for kids to play and cool off from the summer heat.

Summer Fun with Cousin Aidan

This weekend we took a trip across the state to visit Chris, Christena, and Aidan. We had a blast! The boys splashed at the splash pad, played and shared toys at home, and even exchanged a friendly kiss. Davin is so excited to be able to walk and keep up with Aidan now....well kind of.

Happy Birthday Davin

On Saturday, June 12th we celebrated Davin's 1st birthday by throwing a fishing themed birthday party at our house. We had lots of family, friends, and little ones, from near and far, there to help us celebrate this momentous occasion. Hard to believe that one year has already gone by. Here are a few of the highlights:

Davin got a "Me-Car" from Grandpa Jorge and Grandma Susan and it was the highlight of the party. Davin tried to drive it around by himself but he preferred to be the engine and push everyone else around in his new car.

Davin got his first fishing pole. He was ecstatic!

My First Boat Ride

Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Ashley took us out for a ride on their new boat Memorial Day Weekend. Davin had a hard time getting comfortable in his life-jacket, but after a while he did great. He even took 2 naps while we were out on our adventure. What a trooper!
